Gary Campbell, P.A.-C.

Gary Campbell, P.A.-C., has a master’s degree in education and a bachelor’s degree from Johns Hopkins University. He played and coached college football for a few years and was in pharmaceutical sales with Pfizer, Inc., for 15 years.

Having grown up in a medical family of primary care physicians and surgeons, and before deciding to coach college football at Bucknell University in Pennsylvania, Gary was pre-med at Johns Hopkins University. Once he decided to make a change from the pharmaceutical industry, becoming a physician assistant allowed him to become an active participant in healthcare.

Gary attended the Center for Physician Assistant Studies at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island, after which he moved to the Hampton Roads area to join Tidewater Orthopaedics. Gary supports the needs of our sports medicine surgeons and patients.

In his spare time, Gary enjoys working out, home renovations, coaching high school football, hiking, and wildlife photography.
