Chris is originally from the Pittsburgh, PA area and has been with Tidewater Orthopaedics for five years. He earned a 2-year associates degree in Architectural C.A.D.D. and used his degree as a designer for six years at the Newport News Shipyard. He made the decision to change his career to physical therapy so that he could make a larger impact on other people’s lives. He went back to school and earned his undergraduate degree in Biology at Evangel University in Springfield, MO. Upon graduating, he earned his Masters of Physical Therapy degree from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, MO.

Chris brings several years of experience to Tidewater Orthopaedics and his work experience includes working at the Missouri Rehab Center as lead therapist on the floor that treated patients in the ICU and patients that were ventilator dependent. He also worked in the outpatient department working with orthopaedic and neurological injuries. Chris came back to the Hampton Roads area in 2003, where he spent several years working with the geriatric population in a skilled nursing/long term care facility in Newport News assisting short term patients to recover from various surgeries and illness and assisting long term residents with improving their level of function within the facility. He then came to work in Williamsburg at the Brookdale Senior Living, also known as Chambrel, assisting the residents with recovery from joint replacements, falls, and other forms of illness or injury requiring physical therapy.

Chris lives in Williamsburg with his wife and two dogs. He enjoys watching Penn State football and wrestling and of course the Steelers and Penguins. He also enjoys long rides on his Harley and yard work. Mostly he enjoys the time he spends with his wife and with family.
