“This is the third time Dr. Campolattaro has performed hand surgery on both my hands for trigger fingers. From my first visit to my last (two weeks ago) my experience with him and the staff has been wonderful. Dr. Campolattaro, Gabby, and his nurse assistant have been kind, gentle, great at explaining what is happening and have a perfect bed side manner. I recommend Tidewater Orthopedic to everyone! I will continue to use them in the future. I still have a couple of fingers that could trigger. I am grateful to have a practice that is dedicated to the well being of its patients, compassion, and their attitudes that show they care.”

“Dr. Smerlis is thoughtful, kind, and patient. He has only one goal and that is to provide his patients with the utmost quality and care possible. He personally oversees every aspect of care from the very first consult to surgery to physical therapy. I was in pain for so long that I had forgotten what normal felt like. Thank you for all you do!”

Treating Doctor:
“Dr. Campolaterra is one of my all time favorite doctors. He is truly a 5* doctor. I've had 3 surgeries with him, Two in one hand and one in the other hand. A number of years ago, I was diagnosed with inflammatory osteoarthritis. None of the nsaids I've tried have worked. Cortisone helps. Dr. C gives a great shot. Then I injured my right hand in a fall. No option but to have a joint replacement. Dr. Campolaterra listened to me and alleviated my fears. I had lots of questions. He always made time to answer them knowing what a leap I was taking. The surgery went well, but then I had 2 fingers trigger. Back to surgery again. Again, Dr. C helped me as much as he could. Concurrently, or possibly b/c of overuse, the pain in my left thumb palm region became unbearable. I had surgery on that hand removing the diseased bone and replacing it with a tendon. That surgery was amazing!! I have full use of my thumb and NO PAIN. Dr. Campolaterra is the whole package. He is a fabulous surgeon AND has a great bedside manner. He cares about the WHOLE patient.”

“I saw Dr. Sablan for a right knee diagnosis. He drained the swollen knee and gave me a shot. Everything going forward was fine. Dr. Sablan and his staff have been great, and I continue to improve daily.”

Treating Doctor: Nicholas K. Sablan, M.D.
“I went to see Dr. Sablan in reference to having issues with my elbow. He gave me a bunch of different options prior to scheduling me for surgery. He was very informative about the procedure prior to the surgery. After the procedure he talked to me about what he did and called me a few days later to check on me and see how i was doing. He was very professional and concerned about how I was doing. I would recommend him to anyone who needed help with an elbow injury.”

“Dr. Sablan performed rotator cuff surgery to repair a severely damaged cuff and atrophied mussels which were no longer attached. The surgery was done and required only a bandaid. I went to physical therapy and they were terrific. I would highly recommend Dr. Sablan. In fact, I have already done so.”
