Dr. Nicholas Sablan Joins Tidewater Ortho
Tidewater Ortho would like to welcome Dr. Nicholas Sablan to our practice. Dr. Sablan is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in Sports Medicine. He has served as assistant Team Physician to the LA Lakers, the LA Dodgers, the Angels and the PGA Tour while completing his fellowship at Kerlan-Jobe in Los Angeles. He completed his undergraduate degree at Notre Dame, his medical degree at Albert Einstein, and his orthopaedic residency at the University of Connecticut. Dr. Sablan is a specialist in all forms of cartilage restoration and joint preservation to include cartilage transplant and hip arthroscopy. Dr. Sablan is now available for appointments at both the Williamsburg and Hampton office.

ANNOUNCING THE OPENING OF THE ORTHOPAEDIC HOSPITAL AT SENTARA CAREPLEX
The realization of a vision was reached with the opening of Virginia's first dedicated orthopaedic hospital, Orthopaedic Hospital at Sentara CarePlex, providing patient access to a full continuum of highly specialized inpatient orthopaedic services. The care at this facility will be provided by the Physicians of Tidewater Ortho. In addition, working with Sentara, Tidewater Ortho has opened the state-of-the-art CarePlex Ambulatory Surgery Center where the entire center and entire staff are dedicated exclusively to the care of the orthopaedic patient. The specialized surgeons of Tidewater Ortho complete this team of dedicated health care providers focused on the individualized care of the orthopaedic patient.
